Open the disk image
Double-click the downloaded file to open it.

Drag to Applications
Drop Cachelift on the Applications folder.

Run a free scan
The scan changes nothing. You choose what moves to the Trash.
Permissions
Full Disk Access, only if you want it.
To scan protected folders such as Downloads, turn Cachelift on in System Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Full Disk Access. Without it, Cachelift still scans everything else and tells you the scan was limited.
